“When I have a little money, I buy books; and if I have any left I buy food and clothes.”
— Erasmus

Did you know that a 20-year study found that the presence of books in a home has a bigger impact on children’s educational success than the family’s income, nationality, or level of education?

Besides that, a whole lot of very smart, experienced people have written books about safety, home security, parenting, and other topics that can help us with our mission as parents. I read roughly 100 books every year, about two dozen or which are about safety, self defense, and similar topics.

Below is my consistently updating list of the top ten safety books for parents.
